I work as

After the recording.Several shorts, with a reason.

YouTube, Twitch, or a file. HookWise ranks the clips, writes captions, and lays them out for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, or LinkedIn.

YouTube can block a server. Set cookies or a proxy on the worker, or upload the file. Upload is always the way out.

Three steps

From link to file, without a timeline.

  1. 01

    Add the source

A YouTube link, a Twitch link, or a file. No hand cutting.

  2. 02

    We find the hook

Speech becomes text when a key is set. Otherwise we pick a window and say so on the job.

  3. 03

Download the clip for the platform

TikTok, Reels, and Shorts in 9:16. LinkedIn in 4:5, 1:1, or 9:16. Captions sit in the clear area, and the score can be sorted.

What the clip is made of

What is actually in the file.

Several clips from one video

A long recording can return several shorts. The podcast template ranks up to 8. Past the analysis window we use chapters, or spread samples, and the job says which.

Hook score with a reason

The number comes from the opening hook, not from how long the transcript is. Questions, hook words, and pace count. Silence and mid-sentence cuts are avoided. The reasons sit on the clip. It does not promise views.

Karaoke captions

The active word changes color as it is said. The template sets size and stroke. A brand kit supplies color and type when one is selected. Without a key we burn a short line so you still get an mp4.

The frame follows the platform

TikTok, Reels, and Shorts are 9:16, up to 1080×1920. LinkedIn can be 4:5, 1:1, or 9:16. The crop follows the speaker and falls back to center when the picture is flat. 720p can be chosen.

Hook first

The clip opens on the hook in the first seconds. With an OpenRouter key, a short zoom and one mark can be added. Without a key that is skipped. An end card appears when you write the CTA.

Brand kit

Colors and type are used on the captions. Logo and CTA sit on the end card. The same kit can be used on the next job.

Who it is for

One tool. Three ways of working.

Creator

After the stream

YouTube or Twitch in. Several vertical clips out while the topic is still fresh. If the platform blocks the server, upload the file.

Clients, seats, preview

A folder per client, a seat for a colleague, a share link for the clips, and several links in one queue.

Start as an agency

Agency

Client folders under one account.

Create a client, put projects inside, and invite a colleague by email. Credits stay on the agency account. The client gets a link to finished clips, not a login to the rest.

Projects

  • Client folder and projects
  • Seat via invite link
  • Preview without a login
  • Several links in one queue

Pricing

Pay for one video, or for a month.

1 credit = 1 long video in, including when you pick several platforms. The template decides how many clips you get per platform, up to the server cap. If the job fails before a clip is ready, the credit comes back. Prices in Danish kroner.

Questions

Which links work?

YouTube (youtube.com and youtu.be) and Twitch (VODs and clip links). A file in mp4, mov, webm, or mkv works too. Livestreams are unreliable and may fail.

How long can the video be?

The whole file is fetched when it is within MAX_SOURCE_SECONDS (20 minutes if you leave the default). Longer sources use chapters when they exist, otherwise spread samples. The job shows what was read.

What is a credit?

1 credit is 1 long video in, also when the job returns several clips for several platforms. A bulk job charges 1 credit per link. If it fails before a clip is ready, the credit is returned.

How do I pay?

By card through Stripe, as a subscription or a one-off. Or with crypto through NOWPayments. Crypto buys the credits once and does not renew itself. Credits land when the webhook confirms the payment.

Which caption languages work?

Danish and English are the target. With an OpenRouter key, captions follow speech and the active word changes color. If word times are missing, the words are spread across the line. Without a key we burn a short title line so you still get an mp4.

What if YouTube blocks the download?

The job says so plainly, and the credit comes back. Upload the file, or set YTDLP_COOKIES_FILE and optionally YTDLP_PROXY, HTTP_PROXY, or HTTPS_PROXY on the worker and retry. Twitch links use the same queue.

Who owns the clips?

You do. Files stay on the server so you can download them. Delete the job when they should go.
